About Us

LiftingLab was founded by two friends from Kent, United Kingdom — Ryan and Liam — brought together by a shared passion for lifting, fitness, and the gym lifestyle.

Like many people who train consistently, we spent years wearing gym clothing from different brands, but kept coming to the same conclusion: a lot of it felt repetitive, trend-driven, and uninspired. Different logos, same ideas. We wanted better — so we decided to build it ourselves.

From the beginning, our approach was simple: focus on one product at a time and get it right. We started with t-shirts, believing it was better to perfect it - the comfort, and quality rather than to rush out lots of products without intention.

Ryan

Ryan co-founded LiftingLab with a strong belief that gymwear should feel good to wear, be accessible, and actually serve a purpose. Coming from a genuine love of lifting and gym culture, he wanted to build a brand that focused more on people than profit — clothing you’d feel confident wearing while putting the work in.

Over the past two years, Ryan has been heavily involved in shaping the brand’s direction, learning through rebrands, changes in vision, and real trial and error. His focus has always been on building LiftingLab properly — no shortcuts, no gimmicks, and no chasing trends — just steady improvement and clothing he’d happily wear himself.

Liam

Liam also co-founded LiftingLab with Ryan. His own training and weight-loss journey shaped much of the mindset behind LiftingLab. Through the gym, he learned discipline, resilience, and self-belief. For him, training isn’t just about physical change — it’s about mental strength, consistency, and building confidence over time.

Together with Ryan, Liam is focused on building LiftingLab as a brand that people can grow with — creating gymwear that feels comfortable, confidence-boosting, and made to support real training, not trends. Again, clothing that he would wear himself.

Moving Forward

Over the last two years, LiftingLab has evolved.

We’ve rebranded.

Changed direction.

Learned from mistakes.

Gained and lost athletes.

And we’re still learning.

Today, we’re a small but dedicated team, supported by our athletes and partnered with Snap Fitness Neats Court. Our goal is to continue improving, evolving, and growing alongside our community — building gymwear we’re proud of and that people genuinely enjoy wearing.

No gimmicks.

Just training wear.
